The combat system wasnt nerfed (to my knowledge), the combat system has been like that sense launch.

The combat system was buggy as forget. I hated Morrowind for it because half of the time my twenty foot claymore clipped through that Breton's spine and then he stabbed me with a hammer and I fell over.

I like morrowind actually. I've said it before, it's more of a challenge to me. You have to put time into it to raise skills and such. I can't really list ALL that I like about it offhand. But I like the atmosphere, the no maptravel, just a whole lot of stuff about it. Oblivion is more fun for me and a lot smoother. I love both. Morrowind seems like a darker world. And oblivion is more colorful.
