The statue thing would just sit somewhere collecting dust and I would very rarely look at the concept art book.

Don't play Oblivion wanting to get better weapons. This is not World of Warcraft. You may be surprised, but some weapons will last you 3-4 levels until you find a better one.

It's not like I don't know that weapons will last a bit, it's just to a new player I enjoy having more than an iron bow and a steel cutlass, but now I'm in the mages guild so I can enchant my own weapons as soon as I figure out how to use soul gems...

have an empty soul gem in inventory, cast soul trap on an enemy before killing him.

More powerful enemies = more powerful souls and the need for more powerful soul gems.

I'm always true to the blade, but I'll def try the bow since it looks tons more satisfying in skyrim. It looks like it has power behind it, unlike oblivion.

I bloody love The Elder Scrolls series, and as a result, Morrowind and Oblivion stole several hundred hours of my time.

Whats your guys favourite game in the series?
Mine is Morrowind, by far.

I'd have to say Oblivion, just because it was always hard for me to get into Morrowind even though I still put 200+ hours into it.
I've put like 500+ hours into Oblivion.

I have a problem with Oblivion.
Every other time I load a save and every couple of times when going through a loading screen, it just crashes.

This happens whether I have 0, or 100 mods installed.
