Author Topic: Building a computer, what parts to get?  (Read 1215 times)

But if i buy expensive parts, and they break, won't it be easier to buy cheap parts, less money to repair?

Buy expensive parts to play good games for not-so-long period of time or buy cheap parts to play not-so-good games for good period of time.

You won't break anything as long as you aren't a complete lunatic.

Buy expensive parts to play good games for not-so-long period of time or buy cheap parts to play not-so-good games for good period of time.
Or you can buy somewhat decent parts to play good games for a decent amount of time.

You need... A FAN
I already have some spare fans from previous computers which I now don't use anymore, along with power supplys.

I'm going to find the parts on Newegg because it's a lot easier, and then we can find a place in the UK that stocks each item.

Get the Intel 2600k, it can be overclocked to 5 GHz, and its Qaud Core

You're actually serious about building a computer, aren't you?

Your stupid.

If you break anything within the first month of receiving it just return it and get a new one. As long as you aren't hitting things with hammers then you should be fine.

For a Good Graphics card i would say ATI Radeon 6990 or 4550
5450 > 4550

It's cheaper, lower power usage, runs cooler, and has better performance.

6990, the best of the best, or 4550, the worst of the worst?
What are you on?

Also, they have been rebranded now, it's AMD, not ATI.
