It's not because he's a furry or not, it's because he just randomly tells the class he's a furry.

And being a furry isn't really something I'd go around saying. (Unless he's another one of those douchebags who goes "oh ya im a fury/<insertsocialgrouphere> deal w/ i cigarette." And I can say that many MLP people are guilty of that.)
