HIPSTERS
They think having a username is also to mainstream!

like a dozen guys got arrested for that. they are forgeted.

calling yourself anon is just shooting yourself in the foot. because you can be found regardless.
and then theres "durr de durr proxy"

The US Government could still find that stuff.  People think the government is half handicapped when it comes to cyber crime like in the movies, but in reality they seriously can't be stopped.

Seriously, they'd do about the same amount of damage ddosing the blockland forum..

Nothing. they just think its too mainstream.
It's makes worry when pratically every company, many schools, and almost everyone depends on a privatly run website.

and they store all of our information even after we delete our accounts.
This is true.

whats all this private info people are so worried about on facebook?

you worried someone will have your phone number? lol

That's not what I meant at all.
But you weren't talking to be.
So yeah no.

If they hack my sister's stuff, She will be really pissed.

However, I stopped using facebook about a year ago so i don't care about my account.

Seriously, they'd do about the same amount of damage ddosing the blockland forum..
If they managed to take out Facebook, the world would flip its stuff.

i have to wonder how deluded they've gotten if they think actually doing that would benefit anyone but a few hipsters.

Lol, these hacking groups think they're cool by taking down "security". I'll be impressed when they actually challenge a nation's national security, as in the country physically, also meaning getting involved with the country's government and military.

The Russian Mob is like 500x better then Anon... But Anon is cool.
I mean the Russian Mob is like 50 Gods... They know EVERYTHING about EVERYONE.

Anonymous vows to destroy Facebook.

MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS ARE GONNA BE PISSED!

"If you are a willing hacktivist or a guy who just wants to protect the freedom of information then join the cause and kill facebook for the sake of your own privacy."

Yes! Protect our freedom by telling everyone what their best interest is and attempting to enforce it against their will!

"You are not safe from them nor from any government."

Apparently Facebook has your information even if you don't make an account there. Also, no, no one in any country is safe from any government stuffface, the government will do whatever they want regardless of whether Facebook exists or not.

"It is not a battle over the future of privacy and publicity. It is a battle for choice and informed consent. It's unfolding because people are being raped, tickled, molested, and confused into doing things where they don't understand the consequences. Facebook keeps saying that it gives users choices, but that is completely false."

And my choice is to keep using Facebook because it's the easiest way to keep tabs on everyone I know.
If you're too stupid to realize that none of your personal information is safe on the internet then it doesn't really matter if you're being confused into doing things. It's ignorance at fault of the people, Facebook is just running a business.
Yes, Facebook does give users choices; make an account or don't make an account. When I make the choice to hide certain information it's hidden, when I make the choice to not put down my street address it doesn't force me to, if I were to choose not to give out my cell phone number I wouldn't have to. Facebook isn't forcing anyone to do anything, it's Anonymous who is trying to force everyone into agreeing with them even if it means taking things away from people who have done nothing wrong. (People who have, say, created a Facebook account)

I know my ranting means nothing, and this may be re-hashed from other people but I just thought I'd put my two cents in.

Holy stuff that video was awesome. It'd be pretty badass to see if they actually do it. Doesn't bother me, I hate facebook.
