If you could trademark individual words, I would own the entire English language by now. And I would charge everyone that uses it. I do hope this gets settled easily and peacefully.

So what exactly is going to happen now? Are they changing the name, did Notch pay a fine so he could use it? Notch is a millionaire anyway :3
He is?

Think about it for a minute.

I have

Now how is he a millionaire? :o

Well, when someone sells a lot of a certain thing for a certain price, he gets money. Over time, he gets a lot of money. Millions of money, actually. Hence millionaire.

But to produce, market, and sustain something also costs money. Over time, it costs even more money. Plus he has his own personal living expenses to deal with. I mean, I don't doubt he could be a millionaire, it just doesn't seem to me like he is one. Unless there is something about him I don't know, which is very likely. :o

We aren't butthurt about mojang being sued because we all love minecraft its just complete horse stuff to sue a company just because they use a certain word.

no, it isnt. lawyers that bethesda hired think that their copyrights are being infringed upon, so they sue. for all we know they arent even expecting to win.

and mojang was really stupid to try and copyright "Scrolls" in the first place, i mean come on. they deserve to get sued for trying to copyright one word

"Crumbly Writings"

There, thats better.
