Author Topic: Is Fallout: New Vegas playable?  (Read 1669 times)

I haven't encountered any major issues in my 70 hours on the game.

Occasionally it freezes on a loading screen for me but it's never really been a big deal.

Yes, Fallout New Vegas is loving playable. What kind of godamn question is that? Are you loving handicapped? The game's been out for almost a year, as well as having multiple DLCs. I've played the game for over 200 hours and have not found a single game breaking bug. Plus you can mod the game to your liking. I don't know why people can possibly be confused if it is released as retail. Do you people live under a rock? Yeah, the game will crash if you go mod happy, but you have to realize this is a very complicated and open game with many, many different enemies, weapons, npcs, and routes.

Edit: Every game has bugs at one time or another. Get. The. forget. Over. It. It's godamn software, not a block of wood.

What is your problem? You know the game had over 300 bugs from the start of the launch and even after a few updates there is still a stuffload of bugs.

Maybe a stupid question, but are games bought on Steam mod-able?

Yes, as long as they don't use VAC or you turned VAC off.

This is wrong method-
>Buy game
>I wonder if it works

This is right method-

>do/dont buy game

CAPTAIN HINDSIGHT TO THE RESCUE

Yeah, it should have been fixed.

I've played it for about 50 hours, and have encountered any game breaking glitches.

I didn't have much of a choice. The game was being sold on steam 50% off and the sale was ending in less than 30 minutes.

Bump
Why the hell do you need input on this? You've bought the damn game, it isn't going to eat your C drive. Go play it and figure out if it's buggy or not for yourself.

I beat F: NV with minimal bugs. Some characters would get stuck in ceilings, but that didn't change much - they'd fall back down. Sometimes animals/people will float in the air randomly... Nothing much though.

No, Fallout: New Vegas is unplayable. Its a buggy piece of stuff, thats why trillions of people are playing it and its really popular on the internet. Hurr

No bugs whatsoever unless your intended goal is to find them :U
