Specs?

Also, try optifog.

set all your specs to the min. also, you might have a stuffty computer. also, if you have lots of windows at once it will lag out everything. i can only play minecraft with a few windows open, if i try opening minecraft, steam, itunes, and 5 browser videos with one streaming yogpod, it will lag like a bitch.

Start > Run > dxdiag
Post entire contents of the first tab and the "Display" tab.

If you have to reboot due to the game going into night then there is little hope.

Doesn't matter if you want to hear it or not. A stuffty computer is a stuffty computer.
Now post the specs like you have been asked to.

The word 'specs' is short for 'specifications'.

for a computer, this includes your CPU, graphics card, motherboard, RAM, harddrive space, psu, bios, basically every detail about it.

in this case RAM would be most helpful.

what operating system do you use? vista? mac? windows 7? windows XP?

open computer, if there's a button that says "System Properties", press it and post what "Memory" says.

EDIT:

also, turn down the rendering distance and turn off smooth lighting.

Start > run

And in that box that comes up, type "dxdiag."

Wait for it to load, I think there's a message box that comes up.  Whatever it says, say yes.

After that's done, go to the display tab.

Tell us what it says under name in the device box in the top left.

The CPU isn't important?
