Okay, you need to have all of the animations, but they can all be root.dsq

And you will also need to make a node called 'Eye' for people to see out of.

Ok i did do the eye thing so ill just do all of them. Hope it works :D

Arg hmm still wont work. Ill keep working at it.

You need joints. No question about it. Place a joint in the centre of your creature's body and drag a joined down his left leg then two his foot. Click on the main joint again and do the same for it's rights leg. Then do it's arms and hands and one two it's head. The should all be linked together. Then you need to attach the joints to your creatures body. Select a part of it's body and go onto the joints tab and highlist by clicking once the joint that is aligned with it's body and press attach (or something like that).

Animation is next. Simply select a place on your time bar and move the joint by rotating it or just plain moving it and on the top bar under animations (?) click 'set keyframe'. Do all of your animations one after another.

Exporting. Just like normal file > export > torque dts and then make sure you tick animations. There is something else but I forget how to get to it. I'll make pictures later.

That isn't necessary, if he's just making a tree or a box or something that doesn't need a skeleton.

Plus, he only needs to make one animation.

Export the .dsq's also.

Doesn't it need a collision mesh?

Doesn't it need a collision mesh?
Oh that is probably what I am missing. And yes its a tree and it doesn't have animation like explained before. Sad thing is I just got milkshape and all I need is tutorials. I have figured out a lot though its pretty strait forward. A ton easier then blender (to me of course).

Feel free to ask me if you want to know anything.

lol is there a tutorial how to add a collision mesh?

Playertypes don't have collision meshes.

Yes I am I added the things I needed it

Code: [Select]
datablock TSShapeConstructor(TreeDts)
{
baseShape  = "./Tree.dts";
sequence0  = "./root.dsq root";
};

Hydralisk already made the tree.

I know I was on the server when he built the map. I just wanted to make one you know. Plus its my first playertype and i thought that it would be the easiest.
