In order to deal with the rioters in your own way, stuff in a bucket and throw it at the looters from your window. Then, pull out a rifle and threaten to shoot their faces off in self defence. (assuming they are attacking your house)
It's a shame that in our country guns are illegal without a license and it's illegal to shoot a person with a gun, even if they're attacking you.
Even the police have to take extreme caution before opening fire on anyone because of the amount of political backlash.
Most police officers who shoot a person, whether fatally or not end up getting on some form of suspension of being acquited of their job.
And this is one of the times that I wish we had a government that was more keen to take fullscale approaches to things.
If police officers could actually protect themselves then we wouldn't get this sort of stuff.
And the rioters need to be put down.
They're no longer there for protests. They're just thieving scum.
