When you're tazed your nervous system is flooded with electricity and it causes every muscle in your body to suffer convulsions. If that means you're hand is on the detonator then the tendons in your thumb will contract and push the button immediately, activating the bomb and killing everyone.

He he, but what if he gets the money and gets away and can't take his hand off the detonator without going kaboom? Or his finger gets tired and slips for a second? They don't make bombs like that, and the only way to be sure that somebody doesn't squeeze a detonator is to kill them by putting a bullet in the back of their neck. It immediately severs the spinal column and kills them before they can react.
