what about where people can crouch when they fly with jets and they can fly like super man instead of dropping out of the sky?

You people are really that dumb? You can work out why you drop?
Ok... little tip: Crouch and hold jet and hold Jump, Watch what happens.
You can work out the reason you drop by yourself.

superman, along with most humanoids/blockoids, have a very similar shape, generating upward thrust while in a horizontal position and moving parallel to the ground.

There will still be not enough surface area to force the needed amount of air to generate a sufficient amount of upward thrust. Gravity will still be greater.
