Author Topic: Computer Viruses - Scary stuff  (Read 3296 times)

You guys don't understand what these viruses can do, do you?
Stuxnet was designed for a single target, the Iranian Uranium Facilities, when they detected the virus, they can't simply do some sort of system restore or anything like that, it was the most complicated virus ever designed. Not some script kiddy's virus to steal your passwords, it was a whole new type of virus. A real weapon.
So what makes you think a weapon is going to invade a teenagers computer? Obviously this is some friend in US trying splode Iran

What scares me the most is that the virus is open source.

What scares me the most is that the virus is open source.

I don't think it's open source, but rather people have gotten their hands on it and have reverse-engineered it or something like that, pulled it apart and such, and then released the code. I don't know for sure, but I really doubt it was open source.
