Author Topic: Need some new earbuds  (Read 1284 times)

I have a pair of AKG earbuds I use when I drum. They're naice.

Since when do you drum/even have a kit?

DO NOT GET SKULL CANDIES THIS IS IMPORTANT
it's not even a matter of personal preference. every single pair of skull candies one of my friends or me has gotten has broken withing the first year of usage. personal opinion: the sound quality is also stuff
get a pair of cx 380s. i can't personally vouch for them, but the hd 555s i got from sennheiser has lasted 2 years with no problems

Dude, any headphones can break, it doesn't matter how much they cost, they're going to break if you don't use them right. I had some 40 dollar headphones that were AMAZING. But, they broke. So did the next pair. And the next pair. Basically, you have to be careful with them.

I personally don't suggest paying more than 50 bucks on headphones, and even that's pushing it.

That's the other thing, those are sport ear-buds.

except i used all of my headphones right! they broke from normal, non sports usage
you should pay more than 50 if you want good build quality

i found some 75 dollar headphones on the ground about a year ago

now i think they are worth around 5

Not true, lol. I have a pair of headphones that I bought for $3 that sound better and have gone through more than my Beats Studio headphones could have ever dreamed of. stuff, even those AKG's I listed which costed me like $250 at the time couldn't compete with these things durability-wise.

You just sound like a materialistic brand-naming friend by saying "O U HAVE TO SPEND EPIC MONEY FOR EPIC STUFF!" you're an idiot and you should feel bad because of it.

that's because you went with beats. beats are loving stuff
and yes, you do generally have to spend more money for good build quality.
also that last insult isn't related to headphones like at all

I love how you didn't care to read my response at all, you just picked apart differentiating parts and then let the diarrhea flow through your fingers.

Go re-read it and then respond.

Those 3$ ones in the Walmart Checkout line beat 10$ Gummys any day. They Rock.
Edit: They're indestructible too, The only pair of mine that broke was because I sat on them for two hours.
Edit 2: Two resolve your argument, Yes. In most cases you get what you pay for, But sometimes you can get a steal on things. This would happen to be one of those situations.
Edit 3: They're called iLogic.
