Its no fun.

Now it's finally worth the price.

That is stuff. I'm downloading it.

I was waiting for this thing for a long time. Damn right, they should have a free version.

The only thing that keeps me away from Lego Universe is the fact that bricks have to be obtained. I prefer Blockland, where I can fish around in an infinitely deep box of Lego-like bricks for whatever I need and build entire planets.
Provided, of course, my computer can take a planet being built.

:o that would be pretty cool

not free.

after a huge expansion, they made a lot of the early retail areas open as infin demo play.
but the bulk of the game is still pay.

I played the beta thingy of this game, fun times...

I bought the CD for my b-day. It never installed when I reached the minimal requirements, and I never knew that you had to pay per month.

I filled out the survey, trying to be as constructive and not annoyed as possible.

I played through every shred of free content and am very disappointed with what it amounted to.
NULL. According to videos, the crux of the game is selecting your faction (class) and playing through as that class. The free version confines you to a linear progression and you cannot select any faction. I felt so annoyed after reading I couldn't select a class.
For those of you who played through it all with me, would any of you feel much better about this if you could just pick a class and get the starting gear so you can be in some way different from the guy standing next to you? I'm sure everyone would, but it would have made a world of difference to me. And, there is NO companionship as was promised. There is no emphasis on players helping each other out, they seem to want you to solo the game as long as possible.

And OP, you can't get to Nimbus Station AT ALL. You can only play in Avant Gardens, a tutorial world, really.

TL;DR: I'm pissed at Lego Universe because they provided less than what was expected of a free version of a game. Even other free games have more than this. Don't waste the 500-800 whatever megabytes on this.
