Author Topic: Lego Universe Went FREE  (Read 1700 times)

I remember the beta was pretty fun in my opinion. Too bad my brother wouldn't let me play it too often on his computer. Indeed, it was buggy but it was still in beta. But if it still is, I'll avoid playing it.

Is it FREE like runescape or FREE like TF2?

free like runescape. where only idiots think its free, when its really not.

also i love this game lol. its ultimate family friendly, but its a great casual multiplayer achievement collector.

stuff man we should party up when I download it.

Game sounds like crap.

Ever since lego started to start making builds based on TV shows and crap like that, it's made the prices go so freaking high that it's not even funny.
I think they should drop the franchises dealing with that stuff, and get some originals created.

I agree.

Oh and you know when they finally do make something original (Lego Island, adventure, alpha team) they keep making different versions until the series becomes crap.

Its not buggy anymore.
Yes I bought it.
For most of you people, you could probably get level 3 gear in less than a month. I got level 2 like the day after I bought it.

i hold the current record in longest time spent alive in the battlefield (the first one (from beta as well, that you guys may remember))
my kills arent the record, but i hold the time record by at least twice as much as the 2nd guy.

I played the beta thingy of this game, fun times...
I found out I had the beta a week and a half before it ended.
Then I bought the game, and I haven't played it after the free trial.

Effing Pay-to-play games. IT'S FOR LITTLE KIDS, LEGO! How are they going to pay to play?
I was excited for the free version, until I found out what you can- or I should say can't do.

That's LEGO for ya.

I felt like I didn't get to see enough of the game to want to give them money to play. They really show you nothing in the little free-to-play "area." Yeah, they actually call it an AREA. Shows about how much you get to experience.

My brothers, 7 and 5, are playing it constantly, though. I'm pretty bored with it.

Too true. Seems all the online games originally intended for younger players now have ridiculously high price tags.

Downloaded it just because I can. Not worth the massive wait if you have slow internets (which I don't, and it still took 15 minutes). The "Area" given to you makes F2p Runescape seem massive. On that note, at least on RuneScape you can actually experience the game and do a fairly large part of it without paying at all.

I lagged so bad on the beta that I never made it past the double jump.

Get a new computer, my sister's computer runs LU flawlessly

Anyways I'm CrispyEyebrowFungus (account is cooldude8260, also I forget if it's crispy or crusty) but I won't be playing for a while because I need to fully download the game (on DL while play it crashes occasionaly).

Get a new computer

Everybody says that same loving thing. It's getting annoying. The thing is, I'm loving working on it damnit.
