Author Topic: Monocle is enlisting in the military. (Read 8521 times)

Hello everyone, so this is the first time in a while that I'm making a serious thread. As the title states, I'm enlisting in the US Military. The branch I'm going to is the Coast Guard or Air Force. I am going to start the enlisting process in a month or so, and once I for sure am in, I'm dropping my second semester of college and going to training.

My reasoning for joining;

I love this country. I want to give back to it. I want a purpose in life. I don't want to work 9-5 and hate my life for no reason. I'd rather work my ass off to give someone else a good life.

And now I shall start accepting the flaming.

If you're withing 15 feet of an exploding mortar you can earn a Combat Action Badge, so if you see em coming in try and get as close to them as possible.

question: what exactly does the US military fight for? you have your freedom, what does war accomplish?

god all the little pieces of paper would stick to my hands and then I'd try to get them off with glue but then both sides got sticky

a purple heart doesnt mean much to you if your flesh heart isnt working

Well It gives you the right to ask that freely in the first place.
