honestly, i think that we have enough adults and enough young blood to keep ourselves alive on Hawaii. is there like a zombie threat or anything? i doubt we'd actually be starfishs to each other in real life, we'd be more like the people on lost.

Realistically, most of American society would not b able to thrive without technology nowadays. We have become just way too reliant on technology. Most of us don't know how to farm, operate a weapon, and just generally lack survival skills. Because in our country, we have other people do it for us.
