Its like a valley at the foot of a mountain.
I like Mt.Thermal, I will probably try to work that name into the dungeon. But that too will depend on how I want to build it.

I would suggest Glacier Gulch (thats a name from a terrain build i am workin on, the Superscape. Right next to it is the Freezie Field.)

So... Is there a way to join the staff of sorts for this or is it off-limits? And would you be willing to evaluate certain builds and if they are good enough you use them?

Thanks for the bump I guess.

Anyway, nobody else is allowed to work on it, but you can show us your building style.  Unlike Mr. Nobody, I copy bits and pieces of styles I like and utilize it.

Progress is slow due to College and Work. We will do what we can.

Also also, I deleted (accidentally) a piece of it and Mr. N is a little P.O.ed about it.  My bad.

I'll try to remake it myself and it might be OK.

Ive gotten over it, although that piece will be annoying to re-build. From now on, I will keep a backup-backup save so this doesn't happen again.

For some reason the RP save seems really unstable with random events breaking and bricks 'disappearing' what seems to be at will.
I'm afraid its because its an extremely old save as this was started long ago, and is currently being remastered.

Nah, it's because we're using a cheat to surpass the load radius that torque can see.  By building outside of that range, and re-loading and saving constantly, the server has trouble remembering all of the info.  We'll just have to make sure we visit each building before we save each time... it apparently can't handle our half-assed style.

Is the lighting from the holes in the ceiling and emiter?

so, we'll have to wait while the bricks load whenever we enter a new zone?

it's the light rays, yes.

And yes, but with the computer hosting the server, it shouldn't take more than 10 seconds max. Out biggest area with duplicates and unused areas included, takes about 8 seconds to load on area enter.

The choice is yours, several 10> waiting periods, or constant several second delays in the form of lag.

Not to mention that I'm limiting the players to about 10-12 people which is what my DSL can handle without anyone lagging... at all.

10-12 is pretty decent for an RP anyway.

Also also, the zones take literally 2-4 seconds to load unless it's one of the massive areas.  This includes right when you spawn (Which is pretty massive) which takes in turn 4-10 seconds.  I say that's not bad.

Not bad at all.
I was thinking that it would end up being really long loading times but then I realized that I only ever got load times like that when I had absolute stuff internet, which I have not anymore.

Your internet really wouldn't matter much, its mostly up to the hoster's internet to send the information to you.

Progress is slow if not halted for School.

Bumped to keep this alive for future updates.

Can I join your server this weekend?
