Author Topic: Questions about GTA San andreas PC.  (Read 1400 times)

I am thinking of buying San Andreas on Steam soon, and here are some questions:

  • Is modding possible with the Steam version?
  • Is there a way to play the missions co-op online with a friend?
  • Is hosting a server for just a few people reasonable on a computer? (Not on a hosting website, I host my own BL and Minecraft servers)

I would really appreciate it if anyone helped me with these questions.

GTA:SA has no online by default, and the multiplayer mod isn't compatible with the Steam version I'm pretty sure.

I wanted to mod it for the online mode.

Anyway, what version should I buy? (Steam or not steam)

Non steam so you can mod it.

San Andreas Multiplayer works fine for me and I have the Steam version.

Is there a patch for the Steam version to mod it? I'd prefer having it on steam instead of walking to the store and stuffs. :c

Downgrade it to run mods.

impossibru!

Buy the retail version, don't patch it, install Multi Theft Auto. Sa-mp is inferior in almost every way.

r u scared? Buy the physical copy at the store, forget steam!

install Multi Theft Auto. Sa-mp is inferior in almost literally every way.

Aren't MTA and samp add-ons to the original games?
