I gasp and open my eyes. I look around nervously. Carol is clinging to me, which calms me down a bit. I just tried to shut my eyes again and relaxed next to her.

"We're almost there, we are out of the city, and hopefully we will make it to the mil-" BOOM!

"Ah stuff, we got hit by another RPG..."

"Put on your parachute backpacks just in case"

I started breathing quicker and deeper. I tried to keep my eyes shut, but I was starting to panic...

I shot at a few guys with RPG's.

*And then I heard another whoosh*

BOOM!

*Time slowed down for me, I saw the explosion, the people being tossed to the side, I thought we were going to die*

*Time sped up to normal*

*The helicopter was going down, we needed to abandon it*

"GUYS GET OFF NOW!"

"ABANDON SHIP!" I shouted as I jumped out of the helicopter with the girls behind me.

*I jumped out*

*Falling from the helicopter, I pulled my parachute and prepared to land in the forest*

"HOW DID WE END UP ABOVE THE FOREST?!" I shouted above my parachute deploying.

(The city is next to the forest)

*I land softly on the ground*

*I look around*

"If I follow the direction of the helicopters path I can get the survivors, and I can lead everyone to the military base..."

*I pull out my M1 Garand and started to follow the path of the helicopter*

I opened my eyes, expecting to have a panic attack. Instead, I took action. It was almost like I couldn't control my body. I grabbed a parachute and slung it around my bag, then picked up carol and leapt. I deployed the parachute, which was difficult holding carol at the same time, but I managed.

*I hike through the forest path*

*I hear some rustling*

I land in a tree near Kochie.
"Aw nuts..." I say to myself.
The girls land safely next to the tree.

As we drifted slowly to the ground, I yelled to her, "You okay? I'm sorry I picked you up and leapt with you out of a helicopter." I said apologetically, then laughed. "That's gotta be one of the weirder sentences I've ever said."
