I paid no attention to Jokey's ranting and directed him to the heavens. "Look at it, Jokey... it just goes on forever... so beautiful."

"Trouble has always awaited us, or so I've experienced in my time with you guys. I have no doubt we'll encounter even more when we reach our destination."

I soon followed Zombie's gaze to the sky and stared at it.

I stopped to look at the sky.
I sighed.
"Soon I'll be up there with all those stars, eventually there's going to be no rescue for me... But it's going to be worth it... just to have people gaze at me..."

"Don't talk like that," I snapped, my gaze unwavering. "Astronomy has always been a great love of mine."

"We'll all come to the same fate eventually, it's inevitable. You shouldn't spend the time you have thinking about it though."

I sighed. "It has been one of mine as well, the night sky is beautiful."

"Just saying, it won't be long, somebody out there is waiting..."

"And eventually we're not going to be able to kill that thing. I don't want to live forever. My soul will never die and since I'm no longer human I can't age. It's horrible..."
