My thought on what happened:

The mission to get Osama Bin Laden did not go as planned, and a helicopter was shot down in the process of killing him (killing the 30 Americans).  Then they stage a fake RPG attack that killed the SEALS that really died getting OBL.  The reason to do this is that Obama didn't want another failed mission on his hands as President since he wants to get reelected, so he staged the guys' deaths to make it look like an American war tragedy, and Obama can play Mr. Sad Guy.

it's your people who make it happen since it apparently is a tragedy when your men get killed in some war somewhere in a country you don't know anything about

A Chinook or BlackHawk is pretty loving slow, they only go about 200 MPH. Max. A Chinook's cruise speed is 137 MPH, a BlackHawk isn't much better with 173. A skilled guy with an RPG - 7 could bring down a BlackHawk or Chinook without a second thought, and we pissed off a stuff ton of countries when we killed Osama.
