I can see that, but to actually make the vehicle rideable, and give it joints, you need milkshape.

no... in blender you make nodes which are mounts

Oh...well I'm not friends with Blender either 
It's hard to model, and you don't get to work with the mesh that much, you just click buttons.
But that's just my opinion.

Is the model you are making a bicycle or a dirtbike?

Why use a dirtbike when you have a scooter xD, use a BiCycle you dont want you guy to get fat.
