Because they're RPG NPC'S, their feet are cemented into the pavement

Because making too much sense in a video game is not a good way to get players. I could name about 50 games that have things like these.

Well i remember if the moon hits the earth it's loving gigantic and is bigger than the earth. i guess the teeth and eyes make it huge

when the moon strikes the city, doesn't it show a huge explosion that also reaches all surrounding land?

Because that game is creepy anyways and no one actually occupied that town; the moon was never falling.
