That's really great and all, but hurricanes have hit the eastern coast before.  Really, that's not a big deal as an earthquake that happens maybe once in a lifetime

That's really great and all, but hurricanes have hit the eastern coast before.  Really, that's not a big deal as an earthquake that happens maybe once in a lifetime

for an earthquake to really do any real damage to modern structures it'll need to be at least a 7.0

6.0 might do slight to moderate damage right next to the epicenter but it's really not as much

120 MPH winds with 140MPH gusts on the otherhand

theres a band of dark orange/red right where that new invest will go which means if it develops theres a good chance it'll be more powerful than irene
