Sitting in your apartment when a tree crashed through the window unannounced, although the kid who went surfing was.

I want to torch your nipples off.

forget off. I'm going to laugh when a tree falls on your house and kills you.

so upon texting my friend in NJ if they're okay, this is what her response was:

"Barely. You can't enter or leave my town. The only ways out are over bridges, and they're completely underwater. The surrounding towns just opened the flood gates so my town is slowly going underwater. My power went out and <guess she made a typo here this word makes no sense> said that the power might be on in a week. My back of my highschool is underwater. I have no idea what we're gonna do."

well, stuff. NJ got forgeted up the ass apparently

That was the Worst Hurricane I've ever been in. I've been in a hailstorm that was worse.

HA. I told you guys Irene cleaned their clock.

Category one hurricane guys, its no more dangerous than a storm. Same amount of people could have died.

It's windy as forget out, enough to take out tree limbs and power. loving stop it Irene, die already.

I can't stress enough that a Category 1 is immensely stronger than a tropical storm. A lot more people could have died, and a lot more damage could have been done.

Power is back

RIP power outage 3:15AM - 5:30PM

My power never went out.

I live in NYC. Expected results were grossly exaggerated.

>huge hype over hurricane being dangorous
>in the "high to extreme danger" zone
>move everything we can outside inside to prevent damage
>get ready for apparently terriable storm
>mfw all we got was breeze and slight drizzle
