Where in tennessee? I love tennessee at times like this. forget YEAH!

I can't stress enough that a Category 1 is immensely stronger than a tropical storm. A lot more people could have died, and a lot more damage could have been done.

70 mph == storm

75 mph == cat 1

???

A big tree fell over out back, power flickered on and off. :panda:

This is why you need a 12 Cell Laptop battery.

Hitting right now they say the peak of it for me is at 11:00.

It rained a bit but it stopped, honestly I don't think it will do anything to me :/

Is it really as bad as they say it is? Also, do you think the the remainder of it will eventually hit Cleveland?

Not at all. It may be stronger, but it honestly isn't much worse than a regular storm. Besides the size of course, it was quite large. But no anymore dangerous.

Aah, this is why the coastal folk are always scared when they hear about a "bad" storm in Cleveland

Uh, no. Its a coast storm and the winds will push it up toward Maine and Canada.

Irene took out my electricity for several hours today and forced me to exercise. ):
Other than that, I didn't get any trouble from it. There was some wind and the first day of school got moved back by one day.

Stroudsburg, it's in east Pennsylvania about a half an hour drive away from New Jersey. Also I really doubt this thing is any trouble to Cleavland. My end of the storm wasn't bad at all, if this thing seriously made it all the way to Cleavland it would have so little steam left it would probably just be a normal rain.

Hurricanes don't last long far away from the ocean.
