I just got back from seeing this movie and I think that it was pretty decent. For those of you who have seen it, what is your opinion on this film? I think that it was a good movie, but from what other people are saying it was not as good as the original series.

I'm not sure how to explain it, it just didn't come off as a good movie for me. It was decent, but not something I would buy or see again.

I really liked it, actually. Though i only got the references because i read the Wikipedia pages of the old ones. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Wasn't there a "Planet of the Apes" or "Planet Ape" movie somewhere in the late 90s- early 20s maybe.  Anyways, that old one was pretty good.

Although I guess the new movie is "Rise of the...".  Kinda like a prequel to the old one.
