I have yet to see anyone think they're special because of hats. You may just play on the stuffty servers. Plus, I like offline mode a lot. There aren't any hats or stuff like that involved in training.

that's because you are. when i go to a server that is not a trading server, I RARELY hear trade talk. And there is even a trade talk feature in some servers.
