Flipnote hatena is a program on the Nintendo DSi (Dunno about 3DS) which is used for making animations easily. It is free to download. If you connect your dsi to hatena, you can upload your animations online for others to see and rate with stars. People can be your fans if you are a good animator and people enjoy your content.

i used to make these on my DSi but then the touchscreen forgeted up and now it doesnt work well

The topic was gonna be called "Flipnote hatena profiles" but i removed it. If I keep hatena in, then people will know what i mean instead of just "flipnote"

The most popular ones seem to be frame-by-frame drama stories or stick men fighting or remakes of stuff on youtube or music videos.

I've seen 4 or 5 series about gay people. 2 of them were in the most popular, but at least one had good artwork :P

I'd post mine, but there's an embarrassing flipnote on it. The only reason I keep it is because it's the only one I really put work into, and a lot of it. Although it makes me feel sad whenever I see it.
