It's not all Japanese.
And I'm pretty sure PSO ep 1&2 is pretty cheap, considering it's old. (Gamecube/Xbox/DreamCast/PC)

But yes, if you want to play online, you need a private server, from what i know, theres only one good one.

But since i can't talk about details, i'll let you look that up your self.
