Smod, or Super Mod as it is properly called, is a mod for Half Life 2. It mostly consists of the standard Half Life 2 Story but beefed up with new weapons, gore, new visual effects, and plenty more features. It's fun and addicting, so please, take a break every so often.

Anyways, it comes in different flavors such as

Smod Redux
Smod Tactical
Smod 2 (You must have Ep:2 in order to play this one.)

If I forgot anything, please, tell me.

Played it at a friends house, really fun. I love bullet time (is that what its called?), we always use ironsights on the ak-47 and pop combine heads. We always impulse 101 at the beggining and throw exploding bananas all over the train station.

Smod Redux is crashing for me after a while in-game :(. It never did this before (well I haven't played in over a year until now lol) and I installed the patch and everything. Halp :(

It usually happens when you max the settings...

I absolutely hates when it does that...

But still it is a fun game.

Oh. Do you know what setting specifically? I think it's HDR.

Usually Gore/Blood or Effects, Keep them below High if crashing occurs.

Nope, I just disabled HDR and it works fine now yay!
