i hate when a game has "a point of no return" it pisses me off, :(

Fable: The Lost Chapters does this, but only if you skip the credits.
The button prompt at the bottom of the screen teases you so.
Y - Skip Scene

Skip the credits, you show up right outside the Bronze Gate, ready to go in and fight the final boss.
Don't skip the credits, you show up right outside the same door, only having actually completed the game and entered "free roam".
