Retro Video Game Megathread - post old stuff here and get a hard on over it

This is a topic dedicated to the discussion of retro video games. You know, pixely games that you can probably play on an emulator now without the FBI barging in on you when you almost beat Mega Man or some stuff.

People always discuss newer games, which is fine, but I don't see enough topics that suit my desire to talk about older video games. I have always enjoyed older video games than newer ones, and I have no idea why. Maybe it's the fact that older games were more challenging and posed a greater challenge than just shooting through missions on Call of Duty or something. Either way, I needed to make a topic over this.

Before you bother me on telling me what retro is, I consider it basically anything N64 and below, and older PC games. Older PC games as in Amazon Trail or Dinosaur Hunter or something. DOS counts, too. Also, don't argue if someone spits out bullstuff about how emulators are illegal. Only certain ones are, and it's all abandonware either way, so no harm is done. Hopefully.

I'm currently playin' Roller Coaster Tycoon 1.
The best of them all in my opinion.
I would play Age of Empires II, but it only works on my older monitor.

I have never played Roller Coaster Tycoon, which makes me sad. I heard it was a great game.

As for Age of Empires II, holy stuff yes that game is awesome.

Hit and Run is kind of newer compared to some of these :c.
I'm thinking more along the lines of 1999-2001
Hit and Run is 2003 I think.

So I never tried it. Is it really worth getting?

Never liked Sonic games.
Not being an ass, I just never did.
I really enjoy Adventure, but after Sonic Adventure 2, I was done with sonic games.

I really like Sonic 3 & Knuckles. More than the original Sonic, but I still love the Sonic series. It sucks stuff now though.
