In this video, you can see a foreign man in South Korea screaming at an elderly couple on a bus.

Supposedly, the elderly man was trying to be nice, and said to the foreigner, "You can sit here", which, when spoken in Korean, is "Niga Yuh gi anja". Of course the foreigner, being African American, heard as far as "Niga", and immediately flew into a primeval rage.

He's making himself look like a huge starfish, all over a misunderstanding. What I want to know is what is he doing in South Korea if he knows no Korean, especially not such a common word/phrase.

If only at one point in his psychotic rambling, he could have realized how bad he was making himself/foreigners/African Americans look. Koreans (and probably Japanese and Chinese too) are just going to see this video and associate this behavior with all African Americans.

This is why people are tribal

Oh damn, you will not believe how hard I laughed.

mandarin chinese for "this" or "that" sounds pretty close too.

This is why we should've lynched all the mondays.

Why does someone have to know the language of a country to go there, maybe he is just on a holiday or something.

Why does someone have to know the language of a country to go there

So stuff like this doesn't happen.

So stuff like this doesn't happen.
The chance of that happening is so minimal, its like saying you can't go to any country that speaks a different language unless you learn the language fluently because someone might say something and you start beating them because you don't understand.

People like him can't get a good education.

I doubt he will take his time learning languages.

He acts like they can understand him, what a dumb ass lol.

Most countries like Japan, it is required to learn english.

Most countries like Japan, it is required to learn english.

Then how come when I went there nobody knew English except the airport?

I didn't say fluently. He was in South Korea but had no idea what 'niga' meant. That's like going to Japan for vacation and not knowing what 'desu' is.
