You are complaining that you spent thousands more on a computer that can run games well, but has no library

Just about every modern PC game uses DirectX and I don't believe DirectX supports macs

bahahahaha

still, that's like saying you're only releasing a game on xbox because it has a larger fan base. mac CAN handle games fine, the problem is that there are barely any games for it. when i play tf2 or l4d2 it runs fine, the only time it ever lags is when my connection decided to be a bitch and lower my bandwidth. it's not like a console game where releasing to a different console would mean having to circulate disks for that specific console. most pc games are circulated digitally, meaning any money that was spent making the game compatible could be gained back in just a few sales. if it's an actual problem with the mac os or what the game is using, the producers of mac or what the game was made on should hop on that stuff, because it's almost like os racism.

Are you complaining about exclusives? If someone were to complain that Halo was not on PS3 they'd be laughed at

imagine if around 90% of all games were exclusive for xbox. i think people who had a ps3 would have a good reason to complain. like i said, if the mac os simply can't support the game, mac should hop on that stuff. if it's not the mac os then i have reason to be mad.

If that was seriously the case, I would switch consoles. Get over it my friend

if its a problem with the mac system why are you mad at game developers? for not making stuffty games that macs can run?

i never said it was a problem with mac os. i said if it is a problem with the mac os, apple should fix that stuff. it's a given that i also think if it's a problem with the games themselves they should fix that stuff too. you're not actually adding anything productive and you're basically saying  pc is better because richards.

i would but it's not so easy to buy a new computer when you have no real source of income, no way to get to and from a job, and you really can't go out and buy a computer without someone driving you to a store or purchasing it off the internet. i still think it's pretty stupid that game developers have the capability to make games run on macs, and the revenue they would get would far exceed the cost. if the case is with the mac os then i would be pissed at apple for making a system that can't run games, even though the make hardware that can support it.

PC = PERSONAL COMPUTER
WINDOWS AND MAC AND LINUX AND UBUNTU ARE OPERATING SYSTEMS FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS

there isn't much market for mac games, so ports are usually never made or extremely delayed (ie, x3: reunion came out in 2005, the pc port came out in like 2009, after the sequel, x3: terran conflict was released on windows).
why would they waste money porting and testing games for a tiny percentage of the total gamers that would buy the product; about 5% of the steam users are on macs, which means "nope no port for you".

where the hell is linux
who the hell uses linux on a pc; it's terrible for desktop usage, it's more suited for servers or anemic netbooks.

Macs are already more expensive than decent PCs so where is your logic when you complain about money?

i am correct actually, you're just too blinded by the fact that you probably spent a grand on a computer that wont do what you want
