Though there's no confirmation if kids are invincible or not in Skyrim.

I was reading about this. Someone had a great argument "Why put fake boundaries on things because of what's considered right in our world? Instead of wanting to protect children on a good character if, say, the village is burnt by a dragon, the player will just think "ah, whatever, they're invincible."

*ME3 SPOILERS SOMEWHAT* At the beginning of Mass Effect 3 Earth is being invaded by the Reapers. Shephard and some other guy find this kid (no older than 10 or so) hiding in a vent. The kid starts crawling away and Shephard must decide if he shall persist after the kid or leave because they really have to get off Earth soon. You can choose to forget about the kid. Once you get to your ship and take off you see the same kid getting onto one of the evacuation ships along with other families and children. That ship is destroyed as it takes off, killing everyone inside. Obviously, that kid's death has an impact on Shephard. *ME3 SPOILERS SOMEWHAT*

I'm going to be pissed if soccer moms flip out because of this. And I read this out of Game Informer or PC Gamer by the way (I forget which one).
