Should make CooP for it too!

Starting from yesterday afternoon until now, the game is making some great progress. I'll probably post a gameplay video tonight.

A suspenseful encounter with some cans.

Also nope. It isn't in a format that co-op would work with.

dammit, ex!

You scared the crap out of me with those cans!

I thought this wasn't going to be a horror game!

 :panda:
they just wanted to live on the track in peace

The game will run at 1042x768, in fullscreen mode.

I may have a button to change to 1366x768 for widescreen, but most desktop aren't widescreen so probably not. I would also have to convert all the artwork & numbers to work with that resoloution.

looks like i wont be able to play complete fullscreen with my 1600x900 monitor :c

I could include a windowed version too.

will you release an alpha version?
just so we could test it out?

I haven't added any of the main gameplay elements, so nope. Maybe I'll post a video tonight though, it depends on how much I get done.

oh, it's okay. I just meant will you ever realease an alpha.
It looks really cool.

Probably not. I don't want to give away any key gameplay elements so when people play they don't have any spoliers.

nice pixels or some bocks

Dayum this game is progressing very quickly. I didn't really have an idea of how navigating subways was going to work, but it's falling together so wateva.

When I watch the video, it seems that the game has hardly any of it's final features added. But oh well. Here's a neat little video about life in Kenya.

The quote below is ripped from the video description, and it also serves as a feature list.

This video is only meant for demonstrating the basic game movement mechanics, and random environment interaction.

Chronological order of basic game progression. Do not read if you want the game possibilities to be MYSTERIOUS!

- Begin in hazy subway tunnel
- Wander until environment snaps in to clarity
- Wander along subway track, random events may occur
- Every 50 track pieces, there is an exit to a subway station
+- Explore subway station
+- Enter different environments / tunnel conditions
+- Strange events are less likely, or probably won't even have the possibility of occuring in subway station
- If chosen not to explore the subway station, continue wandering until you...
+- Perish somehow
+- Enter a subway station
+- Self Delete

If you do a full playthrough, you will always perish or "wake up."

Out of that list, here is what is finished. ( X = Complete, ? = Working, but needs more, ! = Indev)

The next big feature to work on is subway station exploring, and then finish the other environments. Polish will come last.

What's that red thing on the bottom left-hand corner?

What's that red thing on the bottom left-hand corner?

Heart, it shows how fast the player's heart is beating which determines when they die of a heart attack.

I think.
