Author Topic: Five Star Restaurant  (Read 3123 times)

I'd say it's a....
two star restaurant.

Really empty and duplicated.

We don't care if you lock your topic. It just stops us from giving constructive criticism, at your loss.

Anyways, for a first try its eh. Try to start exterior-first then go interior. Don't slack off, making good builds takes time. Step one to an impressive building is the exterior.

In my opinion this is nasty. 1/10.

The colors are all off. They make no sense. The space inside is really badly used. Its too big. There are an unnecessary amount of seats, looks more like a massive warehouse storing furniture. The structure is basically a box with duplicated tables and chairs. There is no sense of "5 star" quality of an interior, and there is very little there that reflects a real restaurant at all.

Its very basic due to inexperience with building, which is understandable since we've all been there. Overly ambitious and it just hasn't worked. I have no idea why you need so many 3rd party bricks for something like this, its a key mistake that newbies take. A good example of how custom bricks don't make your build great.

To improve:

- Use better colors
- Don't dupe furniture
- Learn some restraint, big does not equal better, and duping an excess of furniture does not help
- Learn to utilize the default brick set, you don't need half of the bricks you downloaded
- Consider getting inspiration from real builds, this barely resembles a restaurant at all

Sorry Clone2 but I agree with Sheath. The space in there is just badly used I mean there are just chairs everywhere. Which is not really required. Make use of your space. And the restraint part you should use too.  The restaurants that you see now-a-days are not as big as THIS. And you can dupe furniture but don't do it all the time. It makes it look bad.

I might just LOCK this if people keep posting commets like that.

...

You posted this just to get praise?  That's sad dude.
