yep Sony's contract, that started in 2003, ends december 31, but starting october they'll make it free to play, so 3 free months of play and then it's shut down :(

Great game way back, it's not as fun anymore due to NGE and CU.

I herebyfurthermoredeclareforth that hence any reference to star wars galaxies pre-CU being better places you as the internet equivalent of Hipsters. It's ok though, you are right.

the only problem i have with it is that its a monthly pay type game even though it is cheap i just kinda hate that stuff
