I read the definition of boats, and I was wondering, do vessels that can rise almost out of the water to gain high speeds count as such?

I might make a game for some BLPC's called OceancoQuest. Basically you have a ship and you try to avoid other obstacles

That would be awesome! Be sure to post a link to it here if you end up doing so!

Will the flagship be on the server available to everyone?

Everyone will be able to view the X01 but only Oceanco members will be able to help/roleplay on her.

I have seen such things (I believe they're called skimmers) and yes, they would be totally fine. They would not be accepted, however, if they were built mainly as aircraft rather than watercraft (such as a hydroplane, etc).

*snip*

You definitely have potential. As Lone said, the exterior needs work, and it could use a more creative name, but otherwise your application has been accepted. Also you need to be more mature in the servers and not throw temper tantrums as you have in the past. I'm sure you'll have no trouble doing these things though. Welcome to Oceanco.

I kind of rushed on the exterior.

What rank?

What I have in mind is indeed a marine vessel, it cannot go on land or take off into the air.

PROGRESS!

Sounds great to me! Hope you build it so I get to see!

Bump!

Update:

The construction of the OCNC flagship is underway, the construction is taking place in a private server however a progress topic will be posted in the near future.

More specifically, construction is taking place in a server that only Oceanco members are allowed to build in. Members are encouraged to sign on and help, non-members are encouraged to apply!

Ohay guys it's Oceanco: 2012 edition!

Nice to see that this clan isn't dead after returning from my hiatus. Keep on building boat builders.

alliteration ftw

We've currently undertaken our biggest project to date... ever. The ship is our flagship currently with the project code X01 and is going to take, god knows how long to get anywhere near completion. We will be keeping the forums up to date with the construction at a future point in time however design and initial construction will take some time.

Im interested in how you make the hull of these ships, because water on blockland is not stopped by blocks and there is no way of stopping it do you include a hull at all?  or just build on a flat base?

It's mostly personal preference and skill which decides to build the hull or not. StarHawk, tends not to build much under the water-line due to there being no point; where as I prefer to build under the water line to close it off and give it that little bit more.

I see, it's just i was thinking of applying and was wondering what to do about the hull :)
