No, if you're still mourning you already have a mental disorder.
"you have a mental disorder because i said so and i have scientifical proof YELLING YELLING"

Crying over someone you don't even know for ten years is not loving normal.

Everyone remembers. We get it. Shut the forget up about it.
I don't know why this is such a big deal for you that people want to have a day to remember a relatively recent tragedy

holy stuff, this was the first 9/11 thread this year
read post times please.
My point is still valid.
Stop milking it.

Crying over someone you don't even know for ten years is not loving normal.
explosively fighting about people supposedly having a mental disorder all over your precious forums isnt the most normal thing either

Well, yelling is the only way to get this particular point through your skull.

Why does it bother you so much that people feel a certain way about this?  Why do you feel so inclined to change our minds?  You're not going to.  To think otherwise is arrogant.

"Oh, the rest of the world gets pissed off that we mourn 9/11 so we'd better stop."  No they don't.  Only anti-social ones that feel the need to shout their opinion online do.  I'm willing to bet that you would never have the balls to say something like this in public because you would immediately become a social pariah.  You come off like the rest of the nay-sayers: edgy for the sake of being edgy.

It's okay if you hold a certain opinion towards something like this.  I can respect your opinion.  But trying to force it down our throats is obnoxious.  By your logic, we as a race should cease celebrating anniversaries and memorials of significant historical events.  If that were the case, we would fall victim to the same stupid mistakes over and over again.  People remember 9/11 not just to celebrate the dead, but to remind ourselves that we will never let it happen again.

ITT: Wizzeh pointing out that you shouldn't mourn after 10 years of something tragic happening; everybody rages and assumes Wizzeh does not love anyone

Conclusion: Most of you already show signs of a mental disorder

Yeah, those silly people.
I'd say the disorder is being American.
But I'm American.

He's not gonna read that. He's like Lord Tony, he just replies with some witty comment.

I don't think you know what "witty" means lol.

The death of any human being is tragic because it not only means we have lost them, but it means the death of relationships and dreams of that person. The victims of 9/11 hold no more right to being mourned for 10 years than people who die of cancer, war, poverty, or any other ailment.

The only reason they have an anniversary is to that people can get together, spout their American jingles and slogans which only acts as a form of catharsis in our profoundly sick society. When Osama Bin Laden was killed, I watched people doing this exact thing, except instead of mourning they were celebrating the death of another human being.

If you want to fix the problem, fix your society and help the world to do the same.

At least I do it for people I know

So my friend, who lost her father in the attack, has a mental disorder?

Call up any counsellor ever and they will tell  you that it's unhealthy to mourn for 10 years.

Humans are social animals, to think otherwise is ignorant.

I'd say it out loud and I don't think anyone would give a stuff. I'm not being edgy, this is literally the opinion of most of the world.

Well the surveillance state you've created in response is enough to ensure it won't happen again at least.

Oh look, I'm right and you're wrong again.

So my friend, who lost her father in the attack, has a mental disorder?

If she behaves like you guys are, yes.
