I've always liked zombie movies. The thing about this, is that it's like a really long zombie movie.

Most people I know used to like this show, but hate it now because it's not just "lolol shoot zombehs" and it's more of a drama. They are actually struggling to stay alive and keep a group together. A zombie apocalypse wouldn't be all fun and games, it's supposed to be dramatic. They focus on survival, and that's what separates The Walking Dead from everything else.
