I'm extremely excited for the new episode. I've been reading a lot of the comic books lately, I finished volumes 1-9 already.

Me too. I got the Compendium (Volumes 1 - 8) for Christmas. Every week I go out and buy a volume, currently read up to 14. I think 15 is the last one, then I will be caught up, and have to wait for some more comics to be published and for Volume 16 to be published. The story is great, and I just love seeing it recreated on TV, I'm just concerned about some stuff they might have to cut out from the show and not include it.

Lucky, I'm taking forever to scrape up enough cash to buy volumes now that I've got one of those useless girlfriends to spend money on. But I agree about the storyline, it truly is great. I love how the comics and the show are incredibly different, even from the very first volume. I'm sure you now what I mean. ;)

Well they have their differences, but I'm pretty sure the show is trying to stay close to the comics. I just wish instead of going to the CDC they would have gone to that gated community. The CDC completely took away the mystery on the infection.

Heck yeah. The gated place would have been a great episode. IMO they should have not included the CDC but instead replaced it with the guy from vol. 9 who tells them he is heading to Washington and knows a ton about the infection.

That happens way after Hershel's Farm, which is where Season 2 is at. I say by Season 4 or 5 we will get to that.

Oh god I read that part last night. That had to be the only piece of the series I cringed at so far. I can just imagine all the chaos, and the way he says "dad...".
