Dale died because the actor had to leave the show.

Hey guys remember when Randall said his group found a tent with two young girls and they raped the young girls in front of the father?

Remember that tent they found with the walker that hung himself over the tree? I bet that was the same father.

I was thinking the same thing, only with the tent where the guy shot himself

Dale died because the actor had to leave the show.
Source?

This guy plays as Dale. He looks nothing without his beard!

Dale died because the actor had to leave the show.

False.

When I was watching The Talking Dead, the guy who wrote and directed that episode talked about Dale's death. He wasn't leaving the show or anything, the writer was friends with Dale's actor and was surprised he was the one directing it, and do the honors of killing off his friend. They killed Dale so Carl would have the courage to kill Zombie Shane later on, since Carl was indirectly the cause of Dale's death.

T-dog is still a useless character. Why is he still alive?

I bet the writers over there are like "we need a black character to not seem tribal but make him incredibly useless."

fodder for the zombies when someone unimportant needs to die when they need him to.

T-dog has lived since the first season.

Meanwhile the only character with a ghetto nickname is the black one. Racism at its finest hahahaha

Oh and if you read the char. bios on AMC's website, T-Dog has the shortest one. Its only like three sentences.

Hopefully with Shane dead they could improve his character more. (If he doesn't die in the season finale.)

The funny thing is T-dog even knows he is useless. Remember when he was talking to Dale?

I was counting the seconds until Shane died. I hated his character. But at the same time I was saddened, because a huge chunk of the character development just fell off the map. I was extremely disappointed when Dale and Sophia died. Dale because he was awesome, and Sophia because now Carl is the only child and so the show keeps focusing on him and I cant stand him. I would prefer a more ensemble cast rather than a near whole focus on the Grimes.
