DC RPWelcome to the official City RP Help Page. Here I will explain exactly how to play on my server. You can start by selecting one of the preset jobs that our finest crafters made for you. Here is a list of them!
Type
/jobs to view all of the available jobs in-game.
You can select to be a Police Officer by typing
/job officer. But you must fill out an application form which you will receive when you type that command. As a Police Officer, you spawn with a Police Baton. You can also upgrade to a Police Chief by typing
/job chief. Even though this is expensive, you spawn with a Police Baton and a Gun. You cannot become a Police Chief until you become a Police Officer first. Being a Chief requires you to have 8 education points.
You can select to be a Nurse by typing
/job nurse. But you must pay $200 as an initial investment. As a Nurse, you gain hunger slower. You can also upgrade to a Doctor by typing
/job doctor. Even though this costs $300, you gain hunger even slower. You cannot become a Doctor until you become a Nurse first. Being a Doctor requires you to have 5 education points. Both of these jobs spawn with Mediguns.
You can select to be a Clerk by typing
/job clerk. But you must pay $70 as an initial investment. As a Clerk, you gain hunger slower and spawn with a key. You can also upgrade to a Manager by typing
/job manager. Even though this costs $350, you gain hunger even slower and also spawn with a key. You cannot become a Manager until you become a Clerk first. You can also become a dealer by typing
/job dealer. This gives you the ability to sell items, whereas Clerks can sell food. A Dealer costs the same as a Clerk and has the same stats. Being a Clerk requires you to have 2 education points and being a Manager requires you to have 3 education points. Being a Dealer requires you to have 2 education points. A Dealer can also upgrade to a Manager with the same command. Managers have the ability to sell anything.
You can select to be a Worker by typing
/job worker. But you must pay $100 as an initial investment. As a Worker, you spawn with a mining wrench. You can also upgrade to a Boss by typing
/job boss. Even though this costs $400, you spawn with a mining wrench and get quite a good income. You cannot become a Boss until you become a Worker first. Being a Boss requires you to have 3 education points.
You can select to be a Servant by typing
/job servant. But you must pay $100 as an initial investment. As a servant, you get no benefits and you cannot upgrade your job. But, you get a decent pay. This job is recommended for people who lack money because it pays well and it doesn’t cost very much.
If you are an admin, you can select to have Admin as a job. You can simply type
/job admin and as a result you will get a great pay and you will be granted immunity from gaining hunger. You will also spawn with Guns Akimbo.
You can become a Surgeon by typing
/job surgeon. Even though it's very expensive, it offers a high hunger discount with a fair tax. You spawn with a Medigun and you are required to have atleast 5 education points before becoming a Surgeon. While you are a Surgeon, the income is also very high.
You can become a Dentist by typing
/job dentist. Even though it's also very expensive, it offers a good hunger discount with a low tax. You spawn with a Medigun and you are required to have atleast 5 education points before becoming a Dentist. While you are a Dentist, the income is also very high.
By typing
/eat, you can replenish your hunger. Every tick, your hunger increases. Once your hunger reaches 100%, you will starve to death. To eat something, type
/eat followed by any affordable value. If your hunger level has reached 45% and you type /eat 45, you will be restored to 0% hunger. This will cost you. Whatever value you select, you must pay. In this case, I would have paid $45.
By typing
/raise, you can increase the amount you are paid every tick. If you type
/raise 20, your income will increase by $20, but you will also pay quite a large sum of money. This is recommended for players who wish to stay on the server for extended periods of time. There is an RTB Server Preference that I have access to that allows me to change how much money you pay when you raise your income.
By typing
/enroll, you can enroll yourself in an educational course. After a specified amount of time, you will be educated. But, education costs money. Every time you educate, it will cost even more money and take even more time. But it's definitely worth it, as your income increases depending on how high your education is. There will be more uses for this command in the future, but for now it's just to help you with your income.
By typing
/givemoney <player name> <value> you can distribute your hard-earned money amongst your friends. A little bit of cash goes a long way, don’t be hesitant to share!
Keep in mind that you are free to build in any lot that has not been taken. If your build is spammy or it does not fit the theme, I will not hesitate to delete it. I am currently recruiting Police Officers to help patrol the city. If you are a Police Officer or a Police Chief, simply ask Big Brother if you would like to be part of the official team. If you break a rule - for example - freekilling, you will be placed in jail. The amount of time you spend in jail varies depending on what you did wrong. If you are a Police Officer or a Police Chief who has broken a rule, you will lose your job. Once you commit a crime, your threat level will increase by one. Your threat level and all of your other stats are available to any person by typing
/stats <player name>. The only way to decrease your threat level is to do jail time.
If your money gets too high, it will be capped. This is because there is a specified limit on how much money a certain player can have all at once. If your money goes over the specified limit, next time you are taxed you will pay wealth tax. This means that your money will not exceed the maximum amount. A similar rule applies for your income. There is also a limit on how much income you receive, but it varies depending on your job. If you try to raise your income while it is already too high, nothing will happen.
Every time you are taxed, you may give or receive social support. This feature allows users to essentially steal from the rich and give to the poor. Wealthy players will distribute a large sum of money to everybody in the server equally, while poor players will simply receive some of that money. By doing this, it allows poor players to keep ahead of the game and to make sure that they don’t die.
You can also purchase multiple items from the store by using
/buy. With this command, you can choose between an assortment of strong weaponry without having to spawn any items! Here is a list of all of the available weapons.

/shop at any time to view a list of these. Be careful when using these weapons, as they are mostly for self defense. Keep in mind that you could potentially go to jail for having one of these. If you die, you will not get your weapons back and therefore you will need to buy them again.
If you would like to place a door, simply pay any admin $100 and they will place one for you, then they will configure the door settings. Remember to tell the admin what type of door you want, or else the admin will pick for you! To change the settings of a door, simply ask an admin. The reason I have disabled non-admins using events is because I do not want people spawning items or using events to their advantage.
There is currently an assortment of different police officers who work at the server to keep the streets safe from crime. If you are a police chief, you have the ability to jail criminals by simply typing
/jail <player name> <length of jail time> <reason>. Inactive Police Officers will be removed.
If you’re a police officer, you should be familiar with the Police Ranking System. This system is designed to let everybody know how important this police officer is. It is also good for motivation, as it keeps the police officers working hard to rank up. This is a list of how the Police Ranking System works.
1B - Very basic cop, just started. Not yet allowed to handle weaponry.
1A - Basic cop, still a beginner. Not yet allowed to handle weaponry.
2B - Normal cop, allowed to handle weak melee items.
2A - Intermediate cop, allowed to handle decent melee items.
3B - Quite experienced cop, allowed to handle weak ranged items.
3A - Experienced cop, allowed to handle decent ranged items.
4B - Very experienced cop, allowed to handle strong ranged items.
4A - Extremely experienced cop, allowed to handle very strong ranged items.Generally the time and experienced needed to rank up differs from person to person. If you have any queries regarding the Police Ranking System, just ask any Super Admin. This is a list of all of the Police Officers currently.

/cv <cash value> and they will create a voucher worth any selected amount of money above 0. If you are given a voucher, you can type
/redeem <voucher> and you will receive the value which was contained in that voucher. You can create an application form requesting a voucher if you specify how much money you would like and why you deserve it.
Super Admins can type
/iv <item> and they will create a voucher worth any selected item. If you are given a voucher, you can type
/redeem <voucher> and you will receive the item which was contained in that voucher. You can create an application form requesting a voucher if you specify what item you would like and why you deserve it.
If you are a worker, you can become an Architect. This enables you to build freely without getting Build Tax. If you would like this ability, you must make an application by clicking the Architect Form when you type
/help.
If you like to gamble, you can pay $25 and type
/rtd. This will give you the chance to try your luck and either win something good, or receive something bad. Here is a list of all the possibilities you can get by typing
/rtd. All of the following possibilities each have an equal chance of happening.

As you can see, it’s all just luck. Once you type
/rtd, it will announce what you won or lost to the server.
