I just enjoy talking about my athletics. ;)

Wrestling is stupid, though. All it is (at least where I live) is a bunch of guys trying to prove their masculinity by inflicting pain on other guys, while wearing onesies. Actual quote from one of the people at my school: "I really want to put my opponent in enough pain that he can't tap out." Yeah, that sounds like a productive use of time. Not to mention the binge eating and super-diets that it requires. Reaper's lost far more weight, far more quickly than could possibly be healthy. And the coaches here are all jerks, partially excluding our father, who's only a jerk to my brother, and is nice to all of the other wrestlers. He weighs 209 pounds, yet wrestles in the 285 weight class, despite someone being almost as good and weighing 235 (used to be like 260 or something disgusting like that), who they're trying to push down into the 220 weight class.

it's just a sport lol
nothing to get your knickers in a knot about it

You should try grappling, it's what I do.
It's similar to wrestling, but not quite the same.
It's more applicable in real life, based more on technical skill, and is divided not based on weight, but on skill level.

In my opinion, it's better

i heard if you screw up you'll end up breaking your own bones with grappling.

You should try ping pong.

It's the only sport I play.

Wherever you heard that quote, they don't know what they're talking about if they mean wrestling. You don't tap out in wrestling. You either get pinned or time runs out and someone wins by points. No tapping out, although I have put someone in a hold where I literally split their legs so hard they scream, and ask to just be pinned already. I admit it's a richard move, but this kid was varsity and I didn't think I had much of a chance to beat him anyway.

My friend Adam does grappling, I might try it out.

The only way you'll break a bone in grappling is either a) you fell funny on your arm or something, same amount of danger as wrestling, or b) someone has you in an arm bar and you are too stupid to tap out before your arm is broken.

Grappling is based on martial arts, so you probably won't be able to beat anyone good at it for a while. Good luck though.

Some kid broke his wrist yesterday from getting slammed too hard.
Right now my season record is 9-7. Won a match yesterday against a kid I've already wrestled, who got a hell of a lot better, and lost to another kid I've already wrestled, who has legs like loving broomsticks and leg-locked the stuff out of me.

Anyone who isn't Korean sucks at Starcraft.
