It's really quite a great show. The most recent episode featured a lot of action and suspense, and the plot was original as well. The characters are creative and original, not the standard cutout characters you see in most girls shows. There's also the animation, which continues to become more and more impressive as each new season comes.

However, I'm not saying everyone should watch it. I don't like the idea of "converting" people, and if people want to say they hate it that's fine. Just don't try to "deconvert" people or rub your hatred in their face constantly.

Also, I don't watch it daily, nor is it my favorite television show.

Every show has Rule34 and similar stuff. The reason MLP is so huge is that it was expected to be terrible, but was so great it simply blew people away. Not everyone things it's good, but certainly a lot of people do.
