Author Topic: Something weird about the new CS:S update  (Read 1382 times)

I've been playing with bots on normal to hard lately, and they seem weird. All the bots on your team suck REALLY badly, the bots on the other team are able to see you, and headshot you, through walls, and are able to headshot you while running. All in all the bots, on normal (before it was really easy) are able to win so easily its not funny.
This update has seemed to ruin the game for me because all i do is play with bots because of my bad internet.

This is valvegames AI in a nutshell.

This is normal for Valve.

Example: Playing Left4Dead 2, and they wander off, and they heal you after you reach 50 HP, which is handicapped, because thats like saying "AW SHOOT. I GOT A PAPER CUT, HOLD UP, I'M HEALIN'!"

They already forgeted up bunnyhopping and the ticrate...

Man, when I played this nonstop every day back in 2008, it was the stuff. 100tic servers, bunnyhopping was less of a bitch, and hit reg was so much better. I miss the old engine.

Well, I love multiplayer servers.
On a 64 player de_train server, I was able to keep positive k/d ratio.
And it wasn't a deathmatch.
